Paperiton DMS Document Management System has a very easy-to-use integration to
OpenOffice.org.
The vision of Paperiton is to support good integration to the products that are
used when working with electronic office documents. OpenOffice is one of those
application suites.
Working with OpenOffice.org integrated to Paperiton DMS
When you create a new document in one of the supported OpenOffice products
(see below), you can save it to Paperiton DMS with a single click of a
toolbar button. You don't even have to save the document separately,
unless that is what you want to do. The DMS integration takes care of even
that for you, if needed.
After clicking the Save button on the toolbar of OpenOffice, Paperiton DMS takes
over, and let's you define the meta information for the document.
If you check out an OpenOffice.org document in Paperiton DMS, it is
automatically opened for you in OpenOffice. You do the modifications as needed,
and when ready, you click the same Save to Paperiton button as when
saving a new document. Paperiton DMS knows that the document is being
checked in, you don't have to tell it that. After all, Paperiton DMS is a
Document Management System...
